The boys middle school cross country team finished 2nd in theTiger Invite hosted by Seneca East with 89 points. Seventh-grader Cooper Martin was the top finisher at 13th, running 12:56.15. Top finisher for the girls was eighth-grader Peyton Damschorder who was 17th in 14:47.08.

The middle school football team defeated the seventh grade team from Elmwood, 34-0, at home. Lucas Caldwell scored three touchdowns for the Wildcats while Chase Allen and Noah Huss each added a touchdown.

Lindsay Sabo - "She's special and very valuable to not only the children but to the aprents that get the pleasure of knowing her."
Lydia Kigar - "Lydia ALWAYS treats everyone with respect - from the students to the staff and even families of students. She is always cheery and in great spirits!"
Excellence in Education went to:
Pastor Stephen Lutz, a volunteer at the elementary - "He truly goes above and beyond for our students and his biweekly visits mean so much to our classroom!"

Recently, Mrs. Cook's seventh grade students participated in an End-of-Course Olympic-Style Tournament to review for the State Test. Each day mathletes competed in a variety of team events including Relays, Sprints, Hurdles, and a Marathon, with Mrs. Cook was the official. They solved many problems relating to ratios and proportions, equations, the number system, and geometry. Points for correct answers were earned and accumulated for the team. After 6 days of competition, winning teams were awarded with gold, silver or bronze medals by the official. Great job, Wildcats!





The boys MS track team won the Lakota Invite with 139.5 points and the girls were second with 122 points. The boys won six events, three individual events and three relays, the girls won four, three individual events and one relay.

Did you know that today is also Bus Driver Appreciation Day in Ohio? Be sure to thank our wonderful bus drivers when you see them today!! They're the BEST!!


We also need to thank our wonderful nurses this week! Today begins Nurse Appreciation Week, as well - and we don't know where we would be without them! Thank you!


Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! We may be biased, but Woodmore has the best teachers around! THANK YOU for all that you do!


The MS boys track and field team easily captured the River Division team title at the Sandusky Bay Conference Championships at Port Clinton with 160 points. Robert Seeger won three events and Coleton Shaner two as the Wildcats had at least one placer in 15 of the 16 events.


The girls MS track and field team finished second in the River Division at the Sandusky Bay Conference Championships at Port Clinton with 95 points. The 800 and 3200 relay teams finished first along with Karli Heins in the 400. Woodmore placed in 12 events.
