Our Power of the Pen team's "Meet the Author" event recently hosted Woodmore graduate, former Power of the Pen writer, and published author Nicole Ryan! She was part of the team back in 2007/2008 and came to chat about all things creative writing. Our young writers asked amazing questions and listened to her creative writing journey that began right here! Our first district tournament is just around the corner on February 8, 2025 at Tiffin Middle School!

Last week the Elementary and Middle Schools participated in "Stuff the Bus" with the bus drivers! All together, they collected just over 600 items to donate to Elmore and Woodville food pantries. As a fun bonus, the students got to put their vote for a staff member to get "pied" at the end of the week during an all-school assembly. Mr. Davis and Ms. Lafontaine ended up tying and both were hit with a pie by a student. Great job collecting goods, Wildcats! #WoodmoreNation
