Dance Party Friday had a special guest this morning! Cocoa, the World's Finest Chocolate bear, has been traveling around the Elementary and Middle schools the past two weeks, visiting the classrooms that have taken out the most chocolate boxes each day. Today is his last day in the building, so he joined the Elementary morning fun!

As we all know, our sixth graders went to camp last week - but did you also know that we had twelve high school students go along as cabin leaders? We cannot thank them enough for their help and support last week! 💙💛

Reminder Woodmore Community! There will be no school on Monday, February 16th, 2026 for Presidents Day.

The 8th grade boys basketball team captured the SBC River Division title with a 43-24 win over Calvert in the championship game held at Old Fort H.S. Avery Clouse scored 14 points while Chase Allen and Joe Barr added 10 points each.
The Middle School held a clapout today to cheer for the 8th grade boys basketball team ahead of tomorrow’s championship basketball game! They are looking to complete an undefeated season with a conference championship. Good luck, Wildcats!

Thursday was the last full day of sixth grade camp adventures - and it was the Square Dance! They're headed home today! Check out Facebook for more pictures!









Parents and guardians - check your email for a Final Forms communication about Securly Home! This new app will allow you to have increased visibility and control over your student's at home Chromebook usage. An email from Securly with directions to download and login will be coming in the next 24 hours with more detailed information from us early next week!

The 8th grade boys basketball team earned a 46-41 win over Hopewell-Loudon in the SBC Tournament semifinals. Avery Clouse scored 19 points while Joe Barr and Grayson Thatcher each scored nine points and Chase Allen added eight points. Advance to final Saturday vs. Calvert.
The 7th grade girls basketball team lost its SBC Tournament semifinal game, 36-29, to St. Mary CC. Malorie Grove scored 14 points and Kaylee Overly added eight points.

Our PD Day originally scheduled for Monday, February 23rd has changed! This will now be a 2 hour early release day. Students will attend school at their normal start time and will be dismissed two hours earlier than usual. A Final Forms email was sent a few minutes ago as well.

The middle school boys wrestling team placed 5th in the River Division SBC Championships with 46 points. Three wrestlers placed - Benjamin Garber was second at 122 pounds, Jase Archer was third at 86, and Dean Jendrzejak was fourth at 150.
