
The boys MS track team won a dual meet at Margaretta while the girls lost by four points. Max Rich won two events for the boys who won seven events. Karli Heins won two events for the girls who won six events. The meet was shortened due to the weather.

Students in Mrs. Hintz's class along with NHS students participated in a Special Olympics event alongside the Cleveland Cavs at BGSU today. The goal of this event was to provide opportunities for students through unified play with individuals with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities through the sport of basketball.








The JV baseball team lost a 23-13 decision at Lake. Woodmore used five pitchers in the game and they yielded 17 walks. Woodmore managed just three hits in the game by Blane Overmyer, Adley Anstead, and Keegan Strong.

The boys HS track team was third in an SBC tri-meet at Gibsonburg with 37 points. Woodmore won five events as Landon Rich swept the 100 and 200, Drake Blausey won the 400, Myles Byrd won the 800, and the 800 relay team finished first.

The girls HS track team won an SBC tri-meet at Gibsonburg with 86.5 points. The host school had 71 points. The Wildcats won 12 events as Azure Travis won both hurdle events and Lilian Runion won the high and long jumps. Woodmore also won all four relays.

The varsity softball team lost a 9-3 decision at home to Lake. Cameran Quisno had two hits and an RBI and pitched the first 4.2 innings. Taylor Hill pitched the last 2.1 innings. Kara Schneider had one hit and two RBI. Hill, Olivia Scavio and Kaitlyn Babka each had hits.

The varsity baseball team lost a 12-0 contst at home to Lake in five innings. Woodmore had one hit, an infield single by Calvin Lipstraw in the second inning. Gavin Donley started and pitched 1.1 innings and Keil Almroth tossed the final 3.2 innings.

The MS boys track team won an SBC home tri-meet with 87 points, 21 more than Hopewell-Loudon. The Wildcats won nine events as Robert Seeger (both hurdle events) and Ish Nagy (100,200) both won two events and three relays also captured first place.

The MS girls track team was second (64.5 pts.) to Hopewell-Loudon (68 pts.) in a home SBC tri-meet that included New Riegel. Woodmore won seven events as Karli Heins and Addison Lowry each own two events and three relays finished first.

The varsity baseball dropped a 12-2 decision at home in five innings. Michael Seeger has two hits and Harry LaMunyon and Parker Hahn had the other two hits. Calvin Lipstraw started and Hahn pitched the last two innings. Calvert scored all 12 runs in the first three innings.

The varsity softbal team earned an 8-4 win at home over Calvert. Cameran Quisno went all the way with eight strikeouts and had an RBI at the plate. Kelsey Kaylor was 2-3 with a home run, RBI, and three runs scored. Camille Strong and Emmaleigh Lawrence both has two hits.

The boys HS track team finished ninth in the Liberty Center Invite with 23 points. Drake Blausey won the 800 in 2:07.20. Woodmore athletes placed in six other events. Landon Rich placed in both the 100 and 200 and Myles Byrd was 5th in the 400 and on two placing relays.

The girls HS track team finished second in the Liberty Center Invite with 119.5 points. The home school had 135 points. WHS won five events as Azure Travis captured both hurdle events, Emma Hammer won the 800, and the 1600 relay and the weight throwers relay also won.

The varsity baseball team earned a 7-5 win at Cardinal Stritch. Parker Hahn had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Trace Murphy had 2 RBI. Michael Seger started and went 3.0 innings allowing 3 earned runs striking out 6. Gavin Donley got the win tossing 2.0 innings allowing no earned runs.

The varsity baseball game at noon at Cardinal Strtich will be played as scheduled.

The junior high/middle school track and field invite at Lakota today, along with the varsity baseball and softball games at home vs. St. Mary CC, have all been cancelled.
