
The boys and girls MS track teams won quad meets at Gibsonburg with New Riegel and Danbury. The boys won 9 events, all 4 relays and 5 different individuals won events. The girls won 6 events as Karli Heins and Addison Lowry were double winners and 2 relays were victorious.

The varsity baseball team lost a 17-0 decision at home to Hopewell-Loudon in five innings. Cole Potridge had the only Wildcat hit, a single with two outs in the fifth inning. Three Woodmore pitchers allowed 12 hits but only six earned runs as Woodmore was guilty of six errors.

The varsity softball team lost a 1-0 decision at home to Hopewell-Loudon. Cameran Quisno tossed a complete game five-hitter with 10 strikeouts. She also had the only Wildcat hit, a seventh-inning single. Woodmore had one other player reach base in the game.

Middle School yearbook order forms are going home today! They are $30 each, cash or check only. There is NO online ordering for the middle school yearbook. Be sure to keep an eye out for the order form - it looks just like the picture below (but will be on colored paper).


Congratulations to April's Elementary Musicians of the Month!

Announcing the 1st grade spring musical program, Pajama Party! The performance will begin at 6:30PM on Tuesday, April, 30th in the Woodmore Elementary School Cafetorium. First grade participants are to wear their favorite pajamas and report to the Gym by 6PM.
This is free and open to the public! We can't wait to hear our first graders sing!


The varsity softball team lost a 10-4 decision at Rossford. Olivia Scavio went the distance on the mound with three strikeouts and allowing five earned runs. Scavio have two RBI and Aubrey Becerra had two hits and an RBI.

The varsity baseball team was a 17-7 winner at Monroeville this morning in 6 innings. Keil Almroth tossed complete game with 7 strikeouts. Almroth and Michael Seeger each had 2 hits, 3 RBI, and 3 runs scored. Luke Avers and Brody Ish had 2 RBI each. Trace Muphy had 3 hits.

The MS boys track team was sixth and girls ninth in the Margaretta Relays. The boys placed in seven events with a second in the 1600 relay the best finish. The girls placed in five events with a second-place finish by the 100 relay team the best for the Wildcats.

The boys HS track team finished tied for 10th in the Gibsonburg Invite. Drake Blausey finished second in the 800 and Landon Rich was third in the 100 for the best finishes by the Wildcats. Woodmore placed in six events.

The girls HS track team won the Gibsonburg Invite with 124 points. The Wildcats placed in 16 events. Azure Travis won three individual events, Emma Hammer won two and Lilian Runion won the long jump. The 1600 relay team won breaking the meet record set by last year's WHS team.

The JV baseball team earned a 16-9 win at Gibsonburg. Adley Anstead, Andrew Drill, and Keegan Strong each had three RBI. Wesley Kayser and Blane Overmyer both scored four runs. Griffin Thomas and Anstead both scored three runs. Kayser had four hits and Drill had three.

The varsity softball team earned a 12-7 win at Gibsonburg. Cameran Quisno had seven strikeouts and allowed only one earned run and she had three doubles and four RBI at the plate. Taylor Hill also had four RBI while Hill, Kelsey Kaylor, and Kara Schneider each hda two hits.

Students in Mrs. Floro's 6/7 STEAM class had to build a marble run that kept the marble off the ground for at least 8 seconds with the ultimate goal of having the slowest time. They were only given a certain amount of paper and tape so they really had to focus on structure and how they could slow down the marble!




The Woodmore HS Concert Band is playing this weekend for the State Competition! Come out to see them on Saturday, April 20 at 11:00 am in the North Royalton High School Gymnasium.

Woodmore's National Honor Society students hosted their 5th annual 3v3 Tournament on Sunday, April 14 to support Engaging Opportunities Foundation - Christy's Corner. We would like to thank the students and community members that came out to support this event!










The varsity softball team earned a 5-1 win at Danbury. Cameran Quisno tossed a complete game with eight strikeouts and she did not allow an earned run. Kelsey Kaylor had two hits, one a home run, and three RBI. Quisno, Emmaleigh Lawrence, and Taylor Hill all had two hits.

The varsity baseball team lost a 5-1 decision at Danbury. Trace Muphy tossed all six innings allowing six hits, one earned run, and he struck out eight. Woodmore had three hits, all doubles, by Murphy, Parker Hahn, and Joshua Crowell.

Last night we celebrated our Top Ten students and their Honored Educators at the Ottawa County Top Ten Banquet. Congratulations to all of our students for their wonderful academic careers and congratulations to their Honored Educators for all of the hard work and dedication that they provide to the students of Woodmore Local Schools!


Congratulations to Grace Draeger on being one of six winners of the Earl J Johnson Scholarship Award. Grace received her scholarship at the Ottawa County Top Ten Banquet on Wednesday night. Congratulations Grace!
