
The varsity girls basketball team earned a 55-16 win on the road at Sandusky St. Mary CC in SBC River Division play. Kelsey Kaylor led 12 Wildcat players who scored with 17 points.

The high school boys basketball teams lost at Northwood in non-league play. The varsity lost, 56-48, as Brady Thatcher scored 21 points. The JV team lost, 45-36, as Caden Hilt scored 10 points. And the freshman team lost, 43-37, as Mason McGee scored 12 points.

The middle school boys basketball teams split at home with St. Mary CC. The 7th grade won, 59-18, behind 15 points from Joe Barr and 12 points from Chase Allen. The 8th grade lost, 47-12, as John Schreck scored 4 points and Kielyr Overly and Owen Ziebold scored 3 points each.

The middle school girls basketball teams lost games at St. Mary CC. The 7th grade lost, 20-10, as Lacey Schultze and Lydia Thomas each scored four points. The 8th grade lost, 48-12, as Sonia Alarcon scored seven points.

The JV and varsity boys basketball games at Woodmore this evening (Dec. 16) vs. St. Mary Central Catholic have been cancelled because of a roof leak in the the HS gymnasium.

Tomorrow, Dec 17th, 2024, our Middle School Choir will be performing their Winter Concert! Due to scheduling conflicts, it has to take place during school - but fear not! We will be livestreaming it if you aren't able to make it! (It will be available to rewatch after the livestream is over, too!)

The varsity girls wrestling team placed 13th in the 55-team Clyde Invite with 73.5 points. Addison Overmyer finished fourth at 130 pounds with a 2-2 record and Stella Strong also finished fourth, at 140 pounds, with a 2-2 record.

The middle school girls wrestling team p;laced 13th in the 49-team Clyde Invite with 49 points. Three wrestlers placed - Harmony Kroetz at 130 pounds was second, Tinley Thieroff at 98 pounds was third, and Reagan Walper was sixth at 128 pounds.

The varsity boys wrestling team placed third in the 20-team Coldwater Invite. Woodmore had one champion, Wyatt Thieroff at 120 pounds. Landon Rich (175) and Michael Seeger (190) both placed second. Gage Sliwinski, Aiden Cordy, and Bailey Jendrzejak all placed fourth.

The middle school boys wrestling team placed fourth in the 13-team Oak Harbor Invite. Woodmore had six placers including Bryce Ruch at 104 pounds, Luke Geldine at 142, and Lucas Caldwell at 150 who each won their weight class. Osiris Kirk, Orion McCall, and Kaden Osborn placed.

The girls varsity basketball team earned a 52-25 win at home over St. Joseph Central Catholic in SBC River Divison play. Camille Strong scored 21 points and Kelsey Kaylor added 10 points.

The boys varsity basketbal l team lost a 64-56 decision at New Riegel. Senior Brady Thatcher and junior Carson Slates both scored 21 points for the Wildcats. The JV team lost, 46-35, as Caden Hilt scored nine points.

The varsity girls basketball team earned a 45-37 win on the road at Old Fort. Kelsey Kaylor scored 13 points and Kara Schneider added 12 points. The JV team won 18-0 in a two-quarter game as Abbie Schmeltz scored five points and Emma Hahn four points.

The boys high school wrestling team lost a 49-28 dual match at Port Clinton and defeated Hopewell-Loudon, 72-5. Wyatt Thieroff, Robert Seeger, Landon Rich, and Bailey Jendrezejak all wrestled twice and won twice.
