
The varsity girls basketball team lost a 53-42 decision at Danbury in SBC River Division play. Karar Schneider led the way with 12 points while Camille Strong added eight points.

The girls JV basketball team earned a 32-9 win at Danbury. Abbie Schmeltz and Keira Travis both scored eight points. Lilian Runion and Olivia Schreck each added six points.

The varsity girls basketball team eaned a 43-36 win at home over Lake. Kara Schneider scored 20 points. The JV team won 38-19 behind 17 points from Abbie Schmeltz.

The high school girls wrestling team placed third in the 21-school Marion Harding Classic. Stella Strong won the 140-pound weight class. Vida Hernandez (120), Hope Scherger (135), and Satori Alter (155) placed second. Addison Overmyer was third at 130 pounds.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to our Drama Club Supporters! We met on Friday, December 20 for a fun night of pizza, cookie decorating and games. All students received their scripts for "Once Upon a Mattress." Rehearsals will be in full swing beginning in January. We invite you all to join us for a performance on either March 20, 21, 22 or 23.


The varsity girls wrestling team placed 7th in the 36-school Vermilion Invite. Stella Strong (140) and Satori Alter (155) both placed third, Addison Overmyer (130) and Vida Hernandez (120) both placed fourth, Molly Hower (145) was fifth, and Hope Scherger (135) was sixth.

The boys JV basketball team posted a 52-32 win over St. Joseph CC at home. Bradley Fetzer scored 17 points to lead the Wildcats while Brandon Kayser added nine points.

The boys varsity basketball team earned a 76-58 win at home over St. Joseph CC. Senior Brady Thatcher led the way with 31 points and in the process went over 1,000 for his career, becoming the seventh boy in school history to reach the plateau.

The girl varsity basketball team lost a 59-40 decision at Calvert. Kara Schneider led the way with 11 points, Kelsey Kaylor added nine points. The JV won, 36-24, as Karli Heins and Emma Hahn each scored 11 points.

Attention Woodmore Elementary and Middle School Families - we have an amazing opportunity for you this afternoon!
We have received many generous donations from Toys for Tots and are going to provide an opportunity for all of our PK-8 families to come through the PreK-8 cafeteria and join their child/children in choosing a donated item for Christmas. This will take place today, December 20, 2024, after our early dismissal from 1:30 pm-3:30 pm. Please note that all students MUST be accompanied and supervised by an adult as they choose their item.

The middle school wrestling team split dual matches beating Margaretta, 36-17, and losing to host St. Joseph CC, 42-36. Bryce Ruch, Dean Jendrzejak, Luke Geldine, Lucas Caldwell, and TJ Cuningham all won two matches.

The varsity boys basketball team lost a 66-39 decision at home to Old Fort. Brady Thatcher led the Wildcats with 21 points. The JV team dropped a 65-42 decision as Ish Nagy and Collin Perkins each scored nine points.

The middle school giirls basketball teams lost on the road at Calvert. The 7th grade lost, 31-7, as Lydia Thomas scored 3 points. The 8th grade lost, 42-16, as Myra Huss scored 6 points and Samantha Alarcon added 5 points.

The middle school boys basketball teams split at home with Calvert. The 7th grade won, 29-23, as Grayson Thatcher and Chase Allen each scored eight points. The 8th grade lost, 45-25, as Bowen Ish scored 12 points and Owen Herrig scored six points.
