The middle school boys basketball teams split on the road at Danbury - the 8th grade won, 36-29, as Connor Orcelletto scored 10 points, Ish Nagy nine points, and Caden Hilt eight points; the 7th grade lost, 37-27, as Bowen Ish scored 11 points and Owen Herrig had eight.
The middle school girls basketball teams split at home with Danbury - the 8th grade won, 27-8, as Lacey Lipstraw scored 13 points; the 7th grade lost, 17-14, as Myra Huss scored seven points.
Our Middle School Builders Club is having a food drive for the month of February!
Students will bring in their donations to their first period class. The class with the highest average donations (found by taking the number of items donated, divided by the number of students in the class) will be awareded with a party of their choice (donuts, pizza, ice cream, etc.)!
The girls varsity basketball team earned a 34-29 win at home over Eastwood. Woodmore had a small lead at the end of each quarter. Cameran Quisno scored 15 points and Kara Schneider added 10 points. The JV team lost, 30-23, as Anastasia Pietrowski scored 10 points.
The boys varsity basketball team earned a 78-71 win at North Baltimore. The Wildcats won the 3rd quarter, 27-14, to take the advantage. Luke Morris and Brady Thatcher each scored 28 points while Brody Ish added 15. The JV team lost, 35-22, as Camdyn Schwartz scored 8 points.
The middle school girls basketball teams split games on the road at Calvert - the 8th grade won, 38-23, as Olivia Schreck scored 11 points, Karli Heins and Addison Lowry scored eight points each; the 7th grade lost, 16-9, as four players each scored two points.

Tjhe HS boys basketball teams lost games at home to St. Mary CC - the varsity lost, 64-40, as Brady Thatcher scored 14 points and Luke Morris added 12 points; the JV team lost, 35-26, as Gavin Donley scored 13 points and Camdyn Schwartz contributed eight points.
The HS boys wrestling team placed 11th in the Thunderbird Invite in Lima with 90.5 points. Woodmore had four placers - Jack Caldwell was third at 175 pounds, Wyatt Thieroff (106) and Brant Deal (150) both placed fourth, and Michael Seeger was seventh at 190 pounds.
The middle school girls basketball teams lost on the road at Old Fort - the 7th grade lost, 35-14, as Samantha Alarcon scored five points, Myra Huss and Liv Sentle each had four points; the 8th grade lost, 49-28, as Payton Whitcum scored eight points and Karli Heins six points.
The middle school boys basketball teams lost games at home to Old Fort - the 8th grade lost, 32-28, as Ish Nagy scored 13 points and Connor Orcelletto added six points; the 7th grade lost, 41-17, as Owen Herrig scored eight points.
The girls HS basketball teams earned home wins over St. Joseph Central Catholic. Cameran Quisno scored 16 points and Kelsey Kaylor added 10 points as the varsity won, 39-38; the JV won, 26-3, in two quarters as Anastasia Pietrowski scored 9 points and Abbie Schmeltz 8 points.
For families of incoming kindergartners for the 2024-2025 school year, Kindergarten screening is Wednesday May 1, Thursday May 2 and Friday May 3. Students must be 5 prior to August 1, 2024 to be eligible for kindergarten.

After you have completed the pre-registration, contact Mrs. Kigar, the elementary secretary, at 419-862-1060, ext. 402 to schedule a day and time for screening for your child. We have 3 different time frames on Wednesday (5-1) and Thursday (5-2) and 2 slots on Friday (5-3). Every child entering kindergarten this fall must be screened on one of these days. Thanks so much!
