
The girls JV basketball team lost a close 29-25 decision at home to Genoa. Emma Hahn scored six points while Lilian Runion and Keira Travis both contributed five points.

Last Friday, our High School cheerleaders hosted a mini clinic for our K-5th grade students! After practicing during the week, our Kindergarten and 2nd grade students performed at halftime of the JV game and our 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students performed at halftime of the Varsity game. They did a great job! 💙💛

"Annie" tickets will go on sale February 19, 2024. You may purchase them by visiting the K-8 cafetorium between the hours of 6-9 pm on that date plus every Monday and Thursday until the show debuts. Ticket prices are $8 for seniors and students, $10 for adults and $15 for preferred seating. You may also reserve your tickets by calling 419-704-7807.

Sophomore Emily Lang qualified for the district Div. II swimming meet at BGSU Friday morning in both the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke. She will swim in the 200 free at 10:15 on Friday and come back at 12:30 in the 100 back.

The HS boys wrestling team had five placers in the Rossford Invite and finished 11th as a team - Jack Caldwell (175) and Michael Seeger (190) placed third, Landon Rich (165) was fifth, and Wyatt Thieroff (106) and Brant Deal (150) placed sixth.

The HS girls wrestling team have four placers in the Rossford invite. Satori Alter was 2nd at 155 pounds (4-1 record). Addison Overmyer was 3rd at 120 pounds (3-1 ). Mallory Meggitt and Caydie Buchanan were both fourth, at 115 pounds and 135 pounds, respectively (2-2).

The high school girls basketball teams split home games with Gibsonburg - the varsity lost, 48-26, as Kelsey Kaylor scored eight points; the JV team won, 35-28, as Izzy Helmke scored 11 points and Anastasia Pietrowski added 10 points.

Sophomore Emily Lang placed sixth in her heat of the 100-yard backstroke at the Div. II Sectional swimming meet at Oak Harbor today with a time of 1:10.77. She will find out later if that qualifies her for the district meet in BG next week.

The high school boys basketbal teams lost games at home to Gibsonburg. The varsity lost, 71-50, as Luke Morris scored 20 points and Brady Thatcher added 18. The JV team lost, 49-21, as Brandon Kayser, Ryan Maynard, and Camdyn Schwartz all scored five points.

Time flies when you're having fun! Today, Mrs. Pressler's class celebrated the 100th day of school!



"Annie" actors sported their favorite pajamas at rehearsal last evening. The relaxed atmosphere did not hinder a productive practice. As usual, they all sang and danced with gusto! Join us for at least one performance on either March 21, 22, 23 or 24.

Mrs. Landrum's class had a special visitor today - her mom! Mrs. Krock came in for music class with the preschoolers. How fun!




The girls varsity basketball team lost a 60-20 dcision at home to Danbury. Kara Schneider scored seven points. The JV team lost a 33-22 decision as Lilian Runion scored eight points.

The 8th grade girls basketball team lost a 35-20 decision to Old Fort as Payton Whitcum scored 7 points and Lacey Lipstraw added 6 points. The 8th grade boys team lost 35-30 to Calvert as Caden Hilt scored 13 points. Both games were SBC Tournament semifinal contests.

The boys varsity basketball team earned a 74-69 win at Danbury as Brady Thatcher scored 33 points and Luke Morris added 15 points. Woodmore scored 13 of the games last 20 points. The JV team lost, 52-22, as Ryan Maynard scored eight points.

Attention parents and guardians of 7th and 8th graders! There will be an Inflatable Night on February 23rd from 6-8PM! The cost is $10 per students, and there will be concessions available. Come have fun on a bouncy house, an obstacle course, and more!
