
The girls golf team finished 10th in the Columbian Invite at Clinton Heights GC with a 453 team total. Hali Ballard and Jordyn Dunn both shot 104, Satori Alter 117, and Abbey Tucker 128.

The cross country teams ran in the Mel Brodt high school meet at BGSU. Top finishers were: HS boys-Brady Thatcher (89th, 18:29.7); HS girls-Stella Strong (262nd, 27:38.8), MS boys-Cooper Martin (30th, 13:04.3); MS girls-Tinley Thieroff (67th, 14:09.3).

The girls soccer team lost a 1-0 decision at home to Evergreen. Kara Schneider was credited with three saves.

The varsity football team improved to 2-0 with a 44-14 win at home over Montpelier. Landon Rich rushed 19 times for 218 yards and Michael Seeger had 128 yards on 10 carries. Woodmore scored 24 second-quarter points then held Montpellier to 8 yards on 9 plays in the 2nd half.

The high school ended their first week with a Pep Rally celebrating fall sports and playing a fun game of Head, Shoulders, Knees, Pom! What a great way to cap off a great first week back! 🎉

The middle school football team lost a 44-28 decision at Willard. Lucas Caldwell had two rushing touchdowns and one reception for a score. Avery Clouse had a rushing touchdown. Both had a two-point conversion.

The high school volleyball teams lost matches at Old Fort in SBC play - the varsity lost, 25-13, 25-5, 25-13; the JV lost, 25-31, 25-15.

The JV girls soccer team earned a 2-0 win over Oak Harbor at home. Valerie Kerecz and Emma Hahn scored the goals and Abbie Schmeltz made five saves.

The girls soccer team earned a road SBC win at Edison by a 5-1 score. Taylor Hill, Bailey Meggitt, Willow Lewis, and Valerie Kerecz each scored goals. Woodmore had an own goal.
Lewis also had two assists. Kara Schneider had two saves in goal.

The boys JV golf team lost a dual match to Lake at Sugar Creek GC with a team total of 216. Lake shot 186. Satori Alter shot 51, Jacob Youngless shot 54, Dillon Fulweber shot 55, Connar Squires shot 56, Carter Halbeisen shot 69, and Nathan Larrison shot 69.

The middle school volleyball teams lost at home to Old Fort - the 8th grade lost, 26-24, 25-18; and the 7th grade lost, 25-12, 25-13.

We wanted to address a slight error that was recently brought to our attention regarding the lunch menus. Basically....Oopsies!! The menus were sent home before we caught the mistake. On the September lunch menu, Tuesday September 10, should be listed as NO STUDENTS-STAFF PD DAY. We apologize for any frustration or confusion this may have caused. The high school volleyball teams lost matches at home to New Riegel - the varsity lost, 25-17, 15-25, 25-15, 22-25, 15-10; the JV lost, 25-7, 25-12.

The high school volleyball teams lost at Lakota - the varsity by a 25-12, 25-15, 25-7 score and the JV by scores of 26-24, 25-19.

The boys golf team finished fifth in an SBC Shootout at Catawba Island Club with a 186 team total. Mason Busdiecker shot 42, Kaiden Orcelletto 45, Brandon Kayser 48, Kevin Wallace 51, Brody Ish 54, and Jacob Youngless 64.

The girls soccer team battled Oak Harbor on the road to a 0-0 tie. Goalies Kara Schneider and Abby Schmeltz combined to collect four saves.

The middle school volleyball teams split at home with Lakota - the 8th grade won, 23-25, 25-23, 25-21; the 7th grade lost, 25-27, 28-26, 25-7.
