
The middle school volleyball teams split matches at home against Genoa - the 8th grade won, 25-19, 15-25, 25-23; and the 7th grade lost, 21-25, 25-19, 25-14.

The JV football team lost a 26-12 decision at home to Mohawk. Caden Hilt had two touchdown passes - one to Gavin Donley and one to Nick Vargo - to account for the Wildcat points.

The varsity football team lost a 26-7 decision at Margaretta to suffer their first loss of the season. Robert Seeger and quarterback Calvin Lipstraw combined on a 67-yard pass play in the 4th quarter for the only Wildcat score. Woodmore was outgained, 299-172.

Good morning Woodmore Families. Today, Thursday September 19th Woodmore Local Schools will be on a 2-hour delay due to fog.

The middle school volleyball team lost on the road at Lakota - the 8th grade lost, 18-25, 25-20, 25-18; the 7th grade lost, 26-24, 25-13.

The girls soccer team earned a 4-0 win at home over Port Clinton. Camille Strong, Rylie Hesselbart, Willow Lewis, and Alivia Smith had goals. Izzy Helmke, Bailey Meggitt, and Taylor Hill had assists. Kara Schneider had 2 saves.

The boys golf team placed 7th in the SBC River Division Championships at Eagles Landing GC shooting 359. Brandon Kayser shot 86 (t10th), Kevin Wallace 87(t17th), Kaiden Orcelletto 88(t24th), Mason Busdiecker 98(t42nd), Brody Ish 100 (t44th), and Jacob Youngless 100(t44th).

The girls golf team finished seventh in the SBC River Division Championships at Eagles Landing GC with a 440 team total. Satori Alter shot 103 (t17th), Jordyn Dunn shot 110 (27th), Hali Ballard shot 117 (t32nd), and Abbey Tucker shot 129 (t38th).

The girls soccer team lost a 1-0 decision at Sandusky Perkins. Kara Schneider had eight saves in goal.

The JV football team earned a 32-24 win at Willard yesterday as Ish Nagy scored twice on the ground and added three 2-point conversions on the ground. Kyle Almroth caught two scoring pases from Caden Hilt and the two connected on one 2-point conversion.

The middle school boys cross country team was 4th, and the middle school girls and high school boys were 5th in the Cline Invite at Lakota. Peyton Damschroder was 12th (MS girls), Cooper Martin 13th (MS boys), Brady Thatcher 14th (HS boys), and Addison Lowry 53rd (HS girls).

The football team improved to 3-0 with a 41-34 win at home on Homecoming over Willard. Woodmore lead 34-6 early in the third quarter and hung on for the win. Landon Rich rushed 30 times for 272 yards and scored four times. Michael Seeger had a rushing and defensive touchdown.

Today was the final pep rally of the week at the high school! Musical chairs, balloon relay, class competition - great way to end the school week!
Don't forget! Parade starts at 6, court announcement at about 6:30 in the stadium, and then the Homecoming game at 7! Come support your Wildcats!
