
The HS girls wrestling team lost a home dual match to Clay, 24-18. Satori Alter, Addison Overmyer, and Hope Scherger won matches. The JH team won, 39-12. Anires Douglas, Harmony Kroetz, Elena Reif, Zion Scherger, Tinley Thieroff, and Reagan Walper all won matches.

The middle school boys basketball teams split at St. Mary CC - the 7th grade won, 48-16, as Grayson Thatcher scored 16 points and Chase Allen had eight points; the 8th grade lost, 41-9, as Bowen Ish scored three points.

The middle school girls basketball teams lost at home to St. Mary CC - the 7th grade lost, 30-14, as Lydia Thomas scored six points; the 8th grade lost, 58-15, as Samantha Alarcon scored six points and Alexys Becerra scored five points.

Our third graders have been creating pinch pot monsters and tea cups during art class with Mrs. Webb. Clearly, they're having a great time!






Dr. Schaeffer stopped by Mrs. Warner's Kindergarten classroom today! After reading An Orange in January, Mrs. Warner brought oranges for students to snack on and supplies to make orange bird feeders! Such a fun morning!






Congratulations to the Middle School Quiz Team! They won both of their matches yesterday, defeating Elmwood 110-62 and Lake 116-58. Way to go, Wildcats!



The varsity boys basketball team lost a 75-41 decision on the road at Old Fort. Brady Thatcher and Gavin Donley both scored 12 points. The JV team lost 62-35 as Bradley Fetzer scored 16 points to lead the Wildcats.

The middle school girls basketball teams split their games at St. Joseph CC. The 7th grade won, 19-14, as Lacey Schultze scored 11 points. The 8th grade lost, 23-21, as Myra Huss scored 8 points and Samantha Bush added 5 points.

The middle school boys basketball teams swept St. Joseph Central Catholic at home. The 7th grade won, 40-16, as Joe Barr scored 8 points, Grayson Thatcher and Chase Allen scored 6 points. The 8th grade won, 34-27, as Owen Herrig scored 12 points and Bowen Ish added 8 points.

The girls varsity basketball team earned a 50-44 win at Eastwood. Camille Strong scored 11 points to lead eight Woodmore scorers. The JV team won 42-35 as Karli Heins scored 12 points and Abigail Schmeltz scored 11 points.

Amy Carey from PENTA visited our fourth graders today to talk about career clusters. This month is Architecture! Students had fun using real-world tools to measure, construct, and draft during Mrs. Alexander's class. Thank you Ms. Carey!




The boys middle school wrestlilng team placed 5th in the 18-school Northwod Invite. Bryce Ruch (98), Lucas Caldwell (150), and Kaden Osbron (205) won their weight class. TJ Cunningham (160) and Luke Geldine (142) placed third.

The boys varsity basketball team lost a 63-25 decision at home to New Riegel. Brody Ish scored 13 points. The JV team lost 63-53. Bradley Fetzer scored 16 points, Brandon Kayser and Collin Perkins each scored 11 points.

The varsity wrestling team finished 8th in the 38-school Thunderbird Invite in Lima. Wyatt Thieroff (120) and Bailey Jendrzejak (215) both finished third in their weight class. Michael Seeger was 6th at 190 and Gavin Herrig was 7th at 157.

The varsity girls basketball team earned a 64-41 win at St. Joseph CC. Kara Schneider scored 13 points while Keira Travis and Kelsey Kaylor each scored 11 points. The JV team won a two-quarter game by the score of 27-0 as Travis scored eight points.

The boys varsity basketball team earned a 55-39 win at Lakota in SBC River Division play. Carson Slates scored 22 points and Brady Thatcher added 17 points. Woodmore outscored Lakota, 34-19, in the second half. The JV team won, 33-23, as Bradley Fetzer scored 11 points.

The Woodmore Middle School Builders Club is having a spirit wear fundraiser. The items feature a general design that says "Wildcat Nation".
