The girls track team won a tri-meet at Gibsonburg while the boys were second to Old Fort by one point. The boys won five events. The girls won four individual events and two relays as Valerie Kerecz, Ariana Florio, and Wren Lewis won an event and were on a relay that won .
The varsity softball team lost a 6-4 decision at home to Hopewell-Loudon in a non-league game. Woodmore scored three runs in the first inning. Olivia Scavio went the distance on the mound with seven strikeouts. Scavio, Alexys Becerra, and Elena Reif had the RBI.
The middle school girls track team won a dual meet at Northwood while the boys were second in a tri-meet. The girls won six individual events and a relay. They were led by Lydia Thomas who won the shot put and discus. The boys won two individual events and one relay,
The varsity baseball team defeated Old Fort at home, 11-1, in five innings. Michael Seeger started and went three innings to get the win and he had two hits, one a triple, and two RBI. Ryne Donley had three hits, Cole Potridge had two RBI, and Collin Perkins scored three runs.

High School played a game of knock out today! A little brain break was needed before we head back into testing this week. Each grade had 6 students compete and then the winner of each grade competed against the staff winner, Mr. Black. Senior Carson Slates won! 🥇

The HS girls track team was ninth and the boys were eighth in the Edison Invite. The girls placed in seven events led by the second-place finish of the 3200 relay team. The boys placed in four events led by Myles Byrd winning the 1600 in 4:59.34.
The middle school boys track team was 10th and the girls 14th in the Lakota Invite. The boys placed in seven events led by a second in the 200 by Michael Sievert. The girls placed in four events led by a sixth in the pole vault by Evelyn Jess.
The varsity baseball team earned an 11-1 win at home over Gibsonburg in six innings. Keil Almroth tossed a complete game allowing four hits and no earned runs with 12 strikeouts. Eight different players had a hit and six different players had a run scored and/or an RBI.

Mr. Schlea's Science class learned how to use Bunsen burners today! They focused on safety first, and then learned how to adjust the flame, followed by some hands-on practice. What an "illuminating" day in class!

Our very own Harper Beck was one of the OSS Billboard Contest winners this year! Her artwork was selected from over 1,000 entries to represent Sandusky County. Her billboard is up on St. Rt. 51 heading toward Elmore - check it out! Congratulations, Harper!
