Last week, Ottawa County hosted their annual 9 to 5 Awards Breakfast to honor those students who have shown growth and improvement from September to May. This year, Woodmore honored Luke Karchner, Carson Ivy, and Nathan Larrison. Great job, Wildcats!

The varsity softball and baseball games this afternoon at home, along with the JV baseball game at Calvert, have been cancelled.
The high school track meet at Woodmore this afternoon has been cancelled.
The varsity baseball team lost 7-3 at home to New Riegel. Woodmore used three different pitchers in the game. A five-run first inning for New Riegel proved to be the difference. Cole Potridge had two hits and Calvin Lipstraw, Gavin Donley, and Mason McGee had RBI.
The varsity softball team lost 7-0 to New Riegel at home. Olivia Scavio went the distance on the mound striking out five. Woodmore had three hits in the game by three different players and they struck out 20 times.

The Woodmore HS Band earned a Superior Rating (I) in class C at OMEA STATE Large Group Adjudicated Event! Congratulations on a truly outstanding performance!


The boys high school track team was sixth and the girls seventh in the Port Clinton Invite. Both teams placed in 11 events. A second-place finish by the 3200 and 1600 relays teams was the best for the girls. Myles Byrd in the 800 and Landon Rich in the 200 both finished third.

The varsity baseball team's game at home with St. Mary CC was suspended after 10 innings because of darkness with the teams tied at 7-all. The contest will likely be completed prior to the game on May 11 when Woodmore travels to SMCC.
The varsity softball team was a 6-2 winner at home over St. Mary CC. Olivia Scavio went the distance on the mound with six strikeouts. Senior Izzy Helmke had one hit and three RBI while senior Camille Stong had a hit and two RBI. Junior Aubrey Becerra drove in the other run.
The varsity baseball team earned a 12-3 win at Lakota. Keil Almroth went the distance on the mound allowing three hits, one earned run, and he struck out 10. Almroth and Calvin Lipstraw had three hits as nine different players scored a run and seven different players had RBI.
The varsity softball team was a 13-11 winner at Lakota. The teams combined for 33 hits, 17 by Woodmore. Olivia Scavio went the distance for the Wildcats on the mound. Kelsey Kaylor had four hits and three RBI. Scavio, Camille Strong and Alexys Becerra each had three hits.
The varsity boys and girls track teams both finished second in a home tri-meet with Hopewell-Loudon and St. Joseph CC. The girls won five events, the boys six, and both had three first-place finishes in relays. Landon Rich won the 100 and 200 for the boys.
The varsity baseball team lost a 13-1 decision at Oak Harbor in five innings. Woodmore used three pitchers, Keil Almroth, Blane Overmyer, and Keegan Strong. Calvin Lipstraw had two of the three Wildcat hits and scored the only run in the first inning.
Today is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Our bus drivers are AMAZING - from the daily pick up and drop off to the game day rides and field trips, we so appreciate your time, energy, and devotion to our Wildcats! THANK YOU!

The varsity baseball team earned a 7-6 win at Danbury in nine innings. Woodmore scored in the seventh to send the game to extra innings. Blane Overmyer, the last of five pitchers, got the win while Cole Potridge had three hits, scored three runs and drove in a run.
Our high school jazz band delivered an outstanding performance at last night’s annual Jazz Band Dessert! Thank you to all the families and community members who attended to support our music program and celebrate these talented performers.


Don't forget! Monday, April 27, 2026 is a 2 Hour Early Release instead of the originally scheduled PD Day. Students will come to school at the normal time and will release two hours early.
