The varsity softball team earned a 15-14 win at Hopewell-Loudon. The Wildcats scored six runs in the 7th inning, then held on for the win. Taylor Hill started, then Olivia Scavio pitched 1 inning before Hill got the last two outs. Kelsey Kaylor had three hits and three RBI.
The varsity baseball team lost a 4-2 decision at Hopewell-Loudon. Woodmore was held to three hits. Harry LaMunyon had a hit and RBI as did Robert Seeger. Trace Murphy started and went 5.1 innings while Keil Almroth finished up.
The varsity baseball and softball games today at Hopewell-Loudon and the JV baseball at home vs. Hopewell-Loudon will be played as scheduled.
All HS athletic events today (April 19) - track and field at the Liberty Center Invite, varsity baseball hosting Monreoville, and varsity softball at Northwood - have been cancelled.
The JV baseball team defeated Arcadia at home, 14-4, in five innings. Ryne Donley started and got the win going 4.1 innings allowing three earned runs and striking out eight. Andrew Drill had three hits and three RBI while Adley Anstead had two hits and three RBI.
The MS boys track team was 6th at the Lakota Invite, the girls were 8th. Peyton Damschroder was third in both the 800 and 1600 for the best finish for the girls. Lucas Caldwell won the 200, was second in the 400, and third in the 200 to lead the boys.
The varsity baseball team was a 19-3 winner at home over Port Clinton in five innings. Parker Hahn started and got the win going four innings allowing one earned run and striking out seven. Cole Potridge had three hits, a double, triple, and home run driving in seven runs.
The varsity softball team earned an 11-2 win at home over Port Clinton. Oliva Scavio started and pitched five innings with five strikeouts. Taylor Hills struck out three in the last two innings. Camile Strong had three hits while five other players all had two hits.
Recently, Woodmore High School's Top Ten students of the Senior Class of 2025 participated in Ottawa County's Top Ten Banquet where they were honored along with the teacher that had the most impact on their education. Congratulations, Wildcats!

The varsity baseball team lost 10-0 to Gibsonburg at home in five innings. Wesley Kayser and Collin Perkins had the Woodmore hits. Woodmore struck out 11 times in the game. Three players pitched in the game. Keil Almroth started for the Wildcats.
The JV baseball team posted a 12-7 win at Gibsonburg. Adley Anstead, Griffin Thomas, and Ryne Donley each had two hits and two RBI. Keegan Strong also drove in two runs. Anstead started and got the win. Dylan Schave and Andrew Drill also pitched.
The varsity softball team lost a 17-1 decision at home to Gibsonburg in six innings. Woodmore had just four hits in the game as Payton Whitcum drove in the only Woodmore run with a single in the fourth inning.
The varsity baseball team defeated Lakota, 11-9, on the road in SBC River Division play. Blane Overmyer, the second pitcher, earned the win tossing three innings, not allowing an earned run. Cole Potridge had two hits and three RBI. All nine WHS batters had a hit in the game.
The varsity softball team earned an 8-6 win on the road at Lakota. Taylor Hill started and tossed a complete game allowing one earned run and striking out two. Kara Schneider had one hit and two RBI. The Wildcats were outhit, 8-3.

The girls track team was third and the boys seventh at the Lakota Invite. The girls 3200 relay won the event and three individuals and another relay all placed 2nd. The boys 1600 relay team was 2nd and Drake Blasuey was 3rd in the 800. There were 17 girls teams and 16 boys.
The varsity baseball team was a 16-5 winner at home over Cardinal Stritch in five innings. Cole Potridge had two hits, including a double, and four RBI. Parker Hahn started and pitched four innings to get the win allowing three hits and two earned runs.
The JV baseball team lost a 12-7 decision at home to Otsego in eight innings. Griffin Thomas had three hits and four RBI and Olin Richards had a two-run double. Dylan Schave had two hits and the Wildcats used four pitchers in the game.
