It's time for elementary spring music performances! 🎉
On April 23, 2024, the third grade students will be performing "Lights! Camera! Action!" a musical review featuring songs from the movies of yesterday and today! The performance will take place at 6:30 in the cafetorium. It is free and open to the public!

Parents and caregivers of students with disabilities: Another window has opened to complete a survey from the State of Ohio if you have not previously done so. If you complete the survey, you will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card. Your feedback for how the state can improve supporting students with disabilities is critical. Thank you!

Today is Paraprofessional Appreciation Day, and we wanted to make sure that we thanked our INCREDIBLE team of Paras! We are so grateful for them and the support they provide for our Wildcats every day!

Our March R.O.A.R. awards were handed out at the most recent board meeting. Mrs. Kristina Curtis, Social Studies teacher at the high school, and Mr. Robert Chavez, Head Custodian at the elementary school, were chosen!
"Mrs. Curtis is an outstanding teacher who has demonstrated her ability to build relationships and push her students to academic success."
"Mr. Chavez embodies the spirit of dedication and service."

Blast off to Family Literacy Night on April 11th!

Ms. Sabo's kindergartners got a treat for the last day before Spring Break - a snow cone party! They earned this reward by filling up their star jar for good behavior!
Great job Wildcats!

Have a wonderful Spring Break, Wildcats! We will see you when classes resume on April 1st!

Mrs. Melter's and Mrs. Mullennix's third grade classes have been competing in a March Madness reading classroom challenge. This challenge is a fun way to help students review many of the reading skills they have learned throughout the year. Students are split into teams, and read passages and answer various questions about their reading. After each passage/question is complete the next two teams in the bracket shoot to try and make a basket and move up in the bracket. The finals will be this afternoon, to see if Mrs. Mullennix or Mrs. Melter's team wins! Meanwhile each team has been working towards earning the most points, if they get the questions correct they get a point towards possibly winning the MVP of the tournament.

As a reminder, we will have a 2 Hour Early Release tomorrow, Friday March 22nd, for the end of the 3rd quarter.

Today, the cast of Woodmore's musical, "Annie" gave a sneak peak performance to the elementary and middle school students. If you haven't secured your tickets yet, do so soon! Performances start tonight and run through Sunday. For ticket information, contact 419-704-7807. Anyone attending the show on Friday evening may bring a canned good or two that will be donated to the local food pantry.
We've also included some photos from the dress rehearsal! Looks like it's going to be a great show!!

The leprechaun strikes again! Unfortunately, the first graders were unsuccessful in their attempt to capture it this year - but boy, did it leave a mess behind! 💚

Today, the MS and ES did a clap out for our elementary and middle school wrestlers who are competing this weekend in the state tournament! Good luck Wildcats!!

Today was the last day of the 3rd and 4th grade quiz team. Thank you to all of the staff who volunteered their time to help out - our students had a great time!!

Last Friday, the Woodmore PTO hosted a movie night - and absolutely packed the cafetorium! Check out all of the families camping out to watch a movie together!
Thank you to our PTO for offering such fun opportunities for our Wildcats and their families!

Don't forget! We will have a 2 Hour Delay tomorrow, Tuesday, March 12th!

Last week, Mrs. Pressler's and Mrs. Perkins' first grade classes learned about needs, wants, and goods and services. To wrap up the unit, the students worked in groups to create a store front and made products to sell to their classmates. They then got to run their stores and also had a chance to go shopping and buy other students' products. We may have some future entrepreneurs in our midst!

Congratulations to Miss Gerber's Elementary Musicians of the Month! Way to go Wildcats!

Attention parents, guardians and caregivers! This coming week, the elementary and middle school will be having a book fair!
