Congratulations to Miss Gerber's Elementary Musicians of the Month! We are so proud of you! 💙💛

Our PTO is sponsoring a Donuts with Dudes for 1st and 2nd grade students ONLY on Wednesday, January 17th at 9:15 AM in the Elementary Cafetorium. There will be other events for PK-8th grade coming soon!
Please note: siblings from other grade levels will not be able to join. This is a great opportunity for one-on-one time!

Don't forget! We have a 2 hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9th!

Parents and kinship caregivers! Sandusky County JFS just made us aware of this neat program! On the 3rd Tuesday of every month (except August and December), they will be hosting a parent cafe to discuss the joys and challenges of parenting. Bonus - childcare and dinner is provided! The cafes run from 5:30 - 7PM. If you have any questions, please reach out to Jenni Zaika or Tiffany Felter (their contact info is on the flyer). Registration is required - just scan the QR code and register for each session you'd like to attend.

It's officially Winter Break! We hope you have a relaxing, joy-filled break and we can't wait to see you back in the new year! Classes resume on January 4th!

Don't forget! We have a 2 hour early release tomorrow, December 21st!

Are you interested in being a mentor? Do you have 30-45 minutes during the day to volunteer to meet with a student during their lunch/recess to play games, be a listening ear, and generally be another supportive adult in their life?
Contact Dawn Schling, 419-552-1506, to sign up or to get more information! TNT will even pay for your background check!

There's a very special visitor at the elementary school today! 🎅🏻 That can only mean one thing - it's time for Santa Shop!

On Wednesday morning, the Fremont Ballet School put on a performance for our elementary students! The students got to see a variety of ballet dances and costumes, along with a few jazz dance routines. The students were respectful and engaged and REALLY enjoyed the songs where they got to sing along!
Also - can you spot the Woodmore students in the performance? Abbey Tucker, Lilly Wolf, Grace Draeger, and Olivia Lang were among the performers! Wonderful job, ladies! 💙💛

Congratulations to December's PE All Stars at the elementary school! Way to go Wildcats! 💙💛

Chess club started yesterday at the Middle School with a new addition this year! Mr. Ball opened up the club to 2nd-4th grade students as well, and what a turnout! Middle school played first, and then made sure everything was set up for the elementary students. A few even stuck around to help some of the newer players learn the game.
Thank you to Mr. Ball for leading the group, and thank you to our middle schoolers for being great role models for our younger Wildcats!

Thank you to all of the current and former Woodmore students and parents who volunteered to help serve meals yesterday at the free Thanksgiving meal at the high school!

Mrs. Sander's and Ms. Muir's second grade classes got together for a lesson from Mrs. Ramlow on including others even when they are different from you! We watched a TED Talk by 10 year old Cole Blakeway called "We Are All Different-and that's Awesome!" followed by an activity where the students were paired up with the goal of getting to know someone new who might be different (and the same!) in many ways.

Congratulations to Miss Gerber's November Elementary Musicians of the Month!
