We have accumulated quite a collection of lost and found items at both buildings, including clothing, water bottles, and many other belongings. Make sure you stop by and see if any of the items are yours!
The High School will be donating all unclaimed items after June 30th.
The PK-8 building will be donating all unclaimed items after June 12th.
Please note: The varsity locker rooms will also be cleaned out at the end of June. Any items left in the locker rooms after that time will be donated as well.

Today was the Color Run at the elementary and middle schools - great weather, lots of fun, and COLOR! Enjoy your weekend Wildcats, 3 more days! (Check out more pictures on Facebook!)

Our 5th grade math students recently completed a “Volume Zoo” project in Miss Ernsthausen’s class! Students worked in groups to research an animal and then designed and built a 3D model of their animal using boxed shapes. Throughout the project, students practiced calculating volume while also using creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Students also completed an animal research component and wrote informational paragraphs about their chosen animal. The students did a great job, and it was a fun way to bring math to life in the classroom! Check out more pictures on Facebook!

Thanks to funding from the Ottawa County Community Foundation, Mr. Schlea’s 8th grade PEC science class was able to visit Stone Laboratory on Gibraltar Island yesterday! During the trip, students learned about the Great Lakes, limnology, invasive species, and water quality, while also participating in scientific studies. Students participated in collecting and identifying phytoplankton and zooplankton, fish dissections, and fish trawling. It was a great learning experience!

Last week, Mrs. Floro's and Mr. Schlea's 7th grade science classes created "Rube Goldberg Machines" and displayed them for the entire middle school to see! A Rube Goldberg Machine is a machine that completes a simple task in a very complex, over-engineered manner. Students applied their knowledge about forms of energy and energy transfers to help design and build their machine. They worked very hard for more than two weeks, designing, building and testing their projects - and they were amazing! Great job, Wildcats!

Last week, our Elementary and Middle Schools hosted a Career Day! Area businesses came out to talk with our Wildcats about their careers and showcase what their respective fields and work days look like. We are so grateful to all of the participants! Thank you for your support and encouragement for our students! Check out our Facebook page for more pictures and a list of participants!

Here are the Color Run times for this Friday, May 29th!

Sixth graders in Miss Dunn’s class have been busy cooking up creativity with their Food Truck Project! Students designed their own food truck businesses and brands, created budgets, built impressive 3D food truck models, and participated in a fun shopping simulation at their classmates’ trucks. This engaging project combined math, creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurship in a hands-on learning experience. Great work, Wildcats!

Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer Program for Children (Summer EBT), also known as SUN Bucks, began in summer 2025 and provides grocery benefits to low-income families with school-aged children when schools are closed for the summer. Summer EBT benefits will either be loaded to a household’s Ohio Direction Card or a benefit card will be sent in the mail in a plain white envelope addressed to each eligible child.
Families will receive a one-time benefit of $120 for each eligible child and can use the money to buy food during the summer at grocery stores, farmers markets, and other authorized retailers.
All children between the ages of 6 to 18 participating in one or more of the following assistance programs (on or after July 1, 2025) will receive Summer EBT automatically with no need to apply:
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
Ohio Works First (OWF)
Medicaid (if income meets USDA Income Eligibility Guidelines for current program year)
Children of any age enrolled in a school participating in the National School Lunch Program that are approved for free or reduced-price meals for school year 2026-2027 will also receive Summer EBT automatically with no need to apply.
