April 3 - at Elmwood 11, Woodmore 1 (5 inn.) - Woodmore yielded all 11 runs in the first inning and could manage just one run in the fourth inning in losing the non-league road contest. Elmwood sent 15 batters to the plate in the first inning and collected four of their five hits in the game. Woodmore pushed across its only run of the game in the fourth when sophomores Wesley Kayser and Calvin Lipstraw led off with singles and the duo eventually executed a double steal with Kayser stealing home and Lipstraw second later in the inning. Lipstraw had two hits in the game. Freshman Colliln Perkins and junior Blane Overmyer had the other Wildcat hits. Overmyer tossed the last 3.1 innings allowing one hit and striking out one. Senior Parker Hahn started and he was relieved by senior Harry LaMunyon.
